Million Pound Challenge – Registration Procedures
Pre-Registrants Line (participants who registered on line)
1. Enter in at pre-registration booth
2. Make sure a completed registration form and waiver release form are completed
3. Check name off of list and receive wristband and weigh-in directions and card
Proceed to get weighed in
Weight Watcher’s volunteer will weigh participant and fill their weight in on the MPC Card
Participant returns to registration area to confirm they have been weighed
MPC volunteer will record weight next to the participant’s name on the pre-registered list.
The participant’s weight/password card will be stamped, which shows the participant has completed the steps necessary to register for the Michigan Chronicle Million Pound Challenge.
Participant proceeds to check-out wear he/she receives the official MPC T-shirt
Participant is now eligible to participate in activities, screenings, entertainment and receive samples from sponsors
On-Site Registration Line (Not Pre-Registered)
1. Enter in at on-site registration booth
2. Fill out registration forms/sign waiver, and receive wristband. PLEASE NOTE – Adults (18 and over). Children 17 and under must be registered by an adult.
Proceed to get weighed in
Weight Watcher’s volunteer will weigh participant and fill their weight in on the MPC Card
Participant returns to registration area to confirm they have been weighed
MPC volunteer will record weight on participant’s registration form and place in file box.
The participant’s weight/password card will be stamped, which shows the participant has completed the steps necessary to
register for the Michigan Chronicle Million Pound Challenge.
Participant proceeds to check-out where he/she receives the official MPC T-shirt
Participant is now eligible to participate in activities, screenings, entertainment and receive samples from sponsors
3. All new registration forms must then be placed in the file containers provided.
4. We will have areas designated as follows:
Pre-Registered Participants
On-Site Registration for Participants
Pre-Registered and On-Site Registration for Church Groups
Pre-Registered and On- Site Registration for Corporate Sponsors
We will decide whether or not to have two separate areas for Church Groups and Corporate Sponsors, once we see what type of response we are getting from these groups.
